I'll be tinkering about with the layout and profile for a while, but if you have anything you'd like to post up, please feel free to do so. All I ask is that it is respectful to EM Forster, to Alec and Maurice and to the novel and film. Thanks!

Hello and welcome! I'm glad you think it's a good idea. :)

I think it would be great to repost anything from LJ over here,as probably some of it is from long ago and it'll give everyone a chance to reread fics they had forgotten about, or talk about other subjects again, so please go ahead and repost. I'm going to do that with my fiction.

Queen Ypolita suggested we restart the book discussion which is also a brilliant idea, but we could start that from scratch.

Yes, I think that would be brilliant. I think we could start that from scratch again do you think? Maybe make an effort to include a couple of pics for each one, and some blurb like the recent Persian Boy discussion over at Mary Renault? i thought that was very nicely done. :)

Yes, I was thinking along those lines... I was really pleased with the way the TPB discussion evolved and thought we could try something similar. Starting from scratch would make sense. As some of the chapters are quite short, I think it might be an idea to try to group them a little, it could also help in keeping up momentum--I mean, it has 46 chapters, if we were to do one chapter per week, it'd take the best part of a year to get through the entire book.
